How To Play: Herbie Hancock – Chameleon on piano. Part 13
Part 13 of 18 of Herbie Hancock’s classic “Chameleon” Funk Groove on the piano.
This lesson goes over some more double stops , but uses the help of the left hand to add more width and depth to it.It goes to show that you shouldn’t always assume that the left hand is for the bass and the right hand for the melody , both hands can sometimes shift left or right momentarily to help the other out. This technique can really fatten up those chords or runs you are playing, and in this example i’m sure you’ll agree – it sounds great!
